Rio Hikari (氷狩 理緒 Hikari Rio) is the late mother of Satoshi Hiwatari and a member of the Hikari family.

Rio has long, wavy blue hair and blue eyes and is shown wearing eyeshadow and lipstick.
History[edit | edit source]
The mother of Rio Hikari hunted Daiki Niwa when he was Dark Mousy 40 years ago. She then disappeared after giving birth to Rio.[1]
Like every member of the Hikari bloodline, Rio was a victim of a curse that shortened her lifespan.[2] According to Kosuke Niwa, she died 15 years ago.[3]
